Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colours Pine Green pearl effect Papaya Orange (previously available on Colour Storm only) • New colours Deep Green pearl effect Silver metallic (on Colour Storm with Blue or Red Colour Storm upholstery) A3 3 door New models to be introduced during 2005 Model Year:- • 2.0T FSI quattro Sport (200PS) manual • 2.0T FSI front Sport (200PS) DSG • 2.0TDI quattro (140PS) manual – available in Standard, SE and Sport All models have planned start of production from August 2004 with customer deliveries from September. Timings, pricing and technical details will be communicated when finalised. Specification changes of A3 3 door models are as follows:- • Standard model alloy wheel has been changed to 6.5J x 16 ‘9 arm’ design Product Update PU-1151 Page 2 of 6 • A single stage tailgate strut will replace the two stage unit currently fitted on all models • SE model specification now includes a rain sensor at no additional cost • S line models will now have a roof mounted spoiler added at no additional cost Changes to optional equipment are as follows:- • Brushed aluminium inlay (on S line manual model only) is introduced as a no cost option • Removable towbar is available as an option on 3.2 models • The optional light sensor pack on Standard and Sport models has been amended to include the rain sensor and has increased in price • Medial Aluminium inlay in silver finish is available as an option on all models except S line (as a result the option to have the Piano Black Sport inlay on SE models has been removed) Changes to optional equipment prices:- Basic Price Total Price • Medial Aluminium inlay – silver finish Standards models £157.45 £185.00 SE models No cost Sport models £68.08 £80.00 S line models Not available • Brushed Aluminium inlay (S line models only) No cost • HomeLink compatible garage door opener £144.68 £170.00 • Light Sensor pack including Rain Sensor Standard and Sport models £161.70 £190.00 Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colours Crystal Blue metallic Reed Green metallic • New colours Liquid Blue metallic Deep Green pearl effect Dakar Beige metallic (available from week 36) PU-1151 Page 3 of 6 A3 Sportback All details of this model, which will be launched on 10 September 2004, will be announced on a separate Product Update nearer the launch date. A4 Although A4 will not have a 2005 Model Year, there will be a chassis break for all models from week 22. Specification changes for A4 saloon models are as follows:- • Third rear head restraint • Third 3-point rear seat belt There will be no price increase for these additional items of specification and Avant models remain unchanged. Cabriolet There will be no price, specification or colour trim changes for Cabriolet 2005 Model Year. The S4 Cabriolet has additional body/hood colour combinations. Changes to the S4 Cabriolet colour range are as follows:- • New colour combinations Silver metallic with Blue hood Sprint Blue pearl effect with Blue hood New A6 All new A6 production will be 2005 Model Year. The Colour and Trim matrix for the new A6 has already been posted onto Desktop and is unchanged. PU-1151 Page 4 of 6 A6 There will be no 2005 Model Year for the ‘old’ A6 Saloon as production has now stopped. There will be no price or specification changes for the A6 Avant. Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colours Burgundy Red pearl effect Irish Green pearl effect • New colour Deep Green pearl effect allroad There will be no price or specification changes for allroad. Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colours Burgundy Red pearl effect Irish Green pearl effect • New colour Deep Green pearl effect A8 There will be no price or specification changes for A8. Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colours Crystal Blue metallic Burgundy Red pearl effect Irish Green pearl effect • New colours Deep Green pearl effect Akoya Silver metallic PU-1151 Page 5 of 6 New options added to the Optional Equipment list:- Basic Price Total Price • Additional CD Changer (for total of 12 discs) £272.34 £320.00 • Mobile Telephone preparation (week 33) £340.43 £400.00 • Rear foot rests (for Long Wheel Base models only) £153.19 £175.00 • 9J x 20” 9 spoke alloy wheels with 275/35 R20 tyres V6 models £2,042.55 £2,400.00 V8 models £1446.81 £1,700.00 6.0 Long Wheel Base model £1,191.49 £1,400.00 The following options have been deleted from the Optional Equipment list:- • 8.5J x 20” 9 spoke alloy wheels with 255/35 R tyres • Interior Lighting package (option of combined Interior and Exterior Light package remains) • Electric Folding door mirrors • Auto dimming door mirrors (the option of folding and auto dimming door mirrors remain) TT Specification changes to TT models are as follows:- • All Vanity mirrors and illumination have been removed and are no longer available as either standard or optional equipment Changes to optional equipment prices:- Basic Price Total Price • Controls Pack including steering wheel, gear knob, hand-brake cover, knee bolsters and door pulls in leather to match chosen upholstery colour (not available in Silver or Red) £217.02 £255.00 • HomeLink compatible garage door opener £144.68 £170.00 PU-1151 Page 6 of 6 Changes to the colour range are as follows:- • Deleted colour Goodwood Green pearl effect • New colour Deep Green pearl effect General Locking wheel bolts will be re-introduced as factory fitted standard equipment on the following models and consequently the dealer fitment allowance will be adjusted accordingly. • A3 • A4 • Cabriolet • TT Coupe • TT Roadster The fitment of Locking wheel bolts to A2 models must be carried out as part of the PDI and will continue to be reimbursed through the dealer fitment allowance on consignment Fitment of locking wheel bolts to A6, allroad and A8 models will continue to be carried out by the factory and is unaffected by this change Price Lists New price lists will be issued automatically to reflect all model changes, arriving mid May.
