Description:

 

The APT‐ S Light module is a microprocessor‐steered control which is required to the legal company by day

driving lights (TFL) according to model of Audi or Porsche. This module must be switched before the TFL,

with it the technical decrease give can become. APT‐ S Light module steers the brightness and the switch

states of the lights by means of pulse width modulation (PWM). It owns the general TFL functions (in, from

and gedimmt in each case depending on switch state), a sidelight as well as a Coming Home function.

Installation:

 

Before the installation of APT‐ S Light module must be clamped for the prevention against short circuits,

can lead to the destruction of the TFL control. The pipelines in the APT‐S Light module are bundled up after

entrances and exits. The thick bundle the entrances (are red, blue, violet, brown, green‐red, black‐andwhite,

grey, chartreuse, yellow, yellow‐blue) and the thin bundle the exits (blue red‐white, knows, black).

Now must be still inserted of the Poti to the brightness adjustment in the gedimmten state. Connect

moreover simply the Poti like in the switch plan illustrated to the control. The Poti can be appropriated

under the steering wheel disguising where he is inaccessible after unique adjusting of the brightness, or

somewhere in the vehicle where he is well accessible. Thus the brightness can be also shifted any time.

The installation of APT‐ S Light module is concluded. Before the positive pole of the battery is connected

again, all connections should be checked for her right connection. This step is very important, because

wrong connected connections with short circuits, false functions or for the damage / destruction of the

module can lead. In addition, all junctions with shrink tubing or insulating tape must be isolated. If you

have checked everything and have connected the plus again in the battery, can be begun with the

functional control.

If a false function has appeared, the mistake removal helps you.

 

Mistake removal

‐ If a switch state does not function, control the connections of the entrances.

‐ If the TFL instead of gedimmt do not shine at all, take an adjustment in the Poti before.

‐ If the TFL flicker, move the pipelines on another way. Move the pipelines far from sturgeon springs

(ignition, generator, …)

‐ If nothing at all functions, control the inlets, the protection as well as the connection of the TFL.
