Fallo B191604 - Backup battery

Hola,

 

Llevo un tiempo con este fallo registrado en el coche, y tras borrarlo vuelve a aparecer. Lo llevé al taller y lo primero que miraron fue la batería de 12V normal, que reemplazaron al ver que su estado era de un 25% ...Pero como era previsible, no era el motivo del fallo. De hecho el start&stop funcionaba bien y no había motivo para pensar que la batería estuviera fallando.

 

Buscando información por internet, parece ser un problema con la batería del sistema de SOS:

Technical Background

Incorrect software parameter for the connected Gateway’s back-up battery charge monitoring. The system must 
be reset by performing a manual discharge of the connected Gateway’s backup-battery.

Production Solution

The part is no longer used in production.

Service

1. Perform a manual discharge of the connected gateway’s back-up battery by removing constant power (KL30) 
and accessory power (KL15), while KL15 is switched on.
This will force the connected gateway to draw power from the backup battery, lowering the voltage of the back-up battery.
Several discharge cycles maybe needed for the voltage of back-up battery to fall within the specified  parameters.

Note:
The steps for the manual discharge, 4 through 8, are to be performed with the Engine OFF, and without a 12V 
charger on the vehicle.

2. Gain access to fuse panel SB, located behind the driver’s side footwell cover. Consult the repair manual 
for instructions on accessing fuse panel SB.
3. Locate the two fuses which supply constant power (KL30) and accessory power (KL15) to the connected 
gateway. Consult the wiring diagram, or owner’s manual for fuse location and size.
4. Ensure that accessory power (KL15) is ON.
5. Remove the two fuses identified in Step 
6. Wait 30 seconds with both fuses removed.
7. Reinstall the two fuses.
8. Turn off accessory power (KL15).
9. Repeat steps 4 through 8 six additional times. This will result in a total of seven discharge cycles.
10. Following seven discharge cycles, clear the fault memory of the connected gateway module:
 In ODIS GFF, recheck the fault memory of the connected gateway.

 The fault should now be static and should not return after clearing the fault memory. 
In the event that fault does not clear, and is marked as Active, then replace the connected gateway’s backup battery. Consult the repair manual for instructions on replacing the connected gateway’s backup battery. Consult the parts catalog for the correct part number of the connected gateway’s backup battery.

Alguien ha probado a quitar los fusibles SB7 y SB2 siguiendo el procedimiento?

Pero en esas instrucciones habla de mas cosas ademas de quitar solo los fusibles, quiere provocar un vaciado de la batería de emergencia para un reset.

 

No es solo quitar los fusibles.

 

yo la verdad que no he visto antes el error que comentas

Es quitar los fusibles durante un tiempo para precisamente eso, entre otras cosas. Lo explica bien pero me extraña que no sea algo comentado en este foro.

Creo haber leído más fallos como este en el foro por este motivo que indicas. De hecho creo que hay un brico para sustituir la batería de este sistema

Hola @Pochoto, hay un hilo donde hablamos de un error (no es ese código de error que te sale a ti) en la bateria de emergencia del sistema SOS, por si te puede arrojar algo de luz,

Buenos días a mi también me da dicho error desde hace tiempo la verdad y pensé que sería la batería al tener ya 4 años y como muevo poco el coche imaginé que sería eso. De momento sigue ahí pero yo la batería no la cambie aún porque por lo demás el coche arranca bien y no me da más fallos.

Gracias por el enlace, le he echado un vistazo pero aún estando relacionado por ser el sistema SOS, no es el mismo fallo.
