"A collection of TT variants to come

From our archive, we have taken these shots of the Audi TT Roadster again, still the only ones existing, though they’re over half a year old. And we don’t expect the car to make its debut before next year’s Geneva Show, so take a good look as the images shown here are likely to be the only ones you can feast your eyes on before the official ones will appear long after Christmas.

 

It’s clear the Roadster will mimic the layout of the TT Coupé, and the traditional canvas top will have to do again rather than a folding metal roof. Powered by the same 200- and 250-bhp engines, the Roadster will certainly be one of the fastest roadsters around.

 

The two body variants known from the first generation TT – coupé and roadster – will be joined by a three-door hatch variant this time, though we expect it's the classic two-­door bodystyle that will make up most of the sales. The hatchback Shooting Break concept unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show back in October was first to showcase the TT's new look. Engines for the Shooting Break should be the same than for its coupé brother.

 

That also goes for the “S-Line” design package that will be available soon and is currently tested to the limits in the Austrian Alps. Though the new TT will be looking faster yet with the “S-Line” pack mounted, there won’t be any modifications to the engines – what can you do to those brilliant units Audi has chosen to power the TT?

 

However, a real TT-S will be coming too, and rumours originally suggested that it would get the VW Group’s 3.2 V6, turbocharged to well over 300 bhp, but it now looks as if it's going to be a little less spectacular. Audi has to go one better than the Golf GTi, however, so whilst the TT-S will have the same 2.0-litre TFSI direct-injection four-cylinder engine, this unit has been developed for 272 bhp. Don't rule out a more potent engine, however; just as the Golf range has included a GTi and an R32, an R32-equivalent for Audi could well be on the way, complete with the 300 bhp-plus output. This could well wear the TT-RS badge..."

que fea es la trasera y la delantera del coche, no? La trasera ahora que la veo bien, tiene como un spoiler abajo super cutre, no?

Pues a mi me parece precioso

para gustos los colores...

 

Ante todo hablo del coche sin haberlo visto en directo, lo cual quizas cambiaria mi opinion, pero lo veo por delante demasiado focus, demasiado Japo, no se...

 

Y por detras, los faros me encantan, pero el porton del maletero lo veo poco ajustado a la estetica general del coche, al hacer un angulo en un coche completamente redondo.

 

En la foto del TT rojo que has puesto ahora, me he dado cuenta que el paragolpes/spoiler trasero tiene 2 colores, y eso tampoco me gusta mucho....(si al menos fuera en negro como panel de abeja, me gustaria mas)

 

Lo dicho tio, son gustos, y ya esta.... de todas formas, muchas gracias por tu informacion siempre puntual..

Como dije en un post anterior, es igual, pero no es lo mismo...

 

 

A mi tampoco me convence, casi q me gustaría más siempre con el alerón levantado.

El motor que soñaría para el TT sería el 2.0 TFSI de 270cv ó 250 con quattro. Ese sí sería el motor que me gustaría

LA verdad es que a mi me gusta más también con el alerón levantado. No obstante así como lo han hecho está perfecto: al que le guste lo levanta, al que no (que también los hay) no, y a los vaguetes ya se levanta el sólo y baja cuando hace falta

Los escapes de este nuevo TT, sobre todo el de 2 tubos no me gustan nada, están muy hacia los lados y parecen más de un coche diesel..

Coincido contigo, son horribles....aun lo hacen mas burgues. De tenerlo, la 1 mod que le haria seria centrarlos un poco y ponerles dos dobles, tipo M3.
